It's been 15 years since we've heard X Minus One, and this revival didn't help bring radio back.
A family buys a discounted robot to replace the model in their home. The new Robot Servitor, named Bismarck, makes sure the family follows its rules in helping them lose weight.
They try to capture the feel of OTR. The story is from 1958 ... the presentation includes an organ striking dramatic notes ..../ but the story is not as compelling as others.
I really like X Minus One and have collected several copies of each episode, some of them better quality than the ones on your site. The exception is episode 126, "The Iron Chancellor." This episode is invariably profanely altered by the (expletive deleted) people at "Renaissance Radio" who added their name and the organ music you talk about in your comments. Does anyone have the ORIGINAL episode without the disgusting graffitti? P. S. If anyone wants my collection, I could possibly send it. (These are public domain recordings).
