Some soldiers think they can fool the Nazis into thinking the British have a secret weapon that will cause the Germans to surrender. Or maybe the Germans will try to come up with a weapon that will surpass the British weapon.
Oops.
Clever story by Ernest Kinoy, who transcribed a lot of the scripts for X Minus One besides writing this original piece for the show.

Good story, but the ending was rather weak. I was expecting it to end with the Germans also faking that they had the solution.
